The 2008 Presidential Election that will make history is almost here. I'm very excited, yet very nervous for the outcome of our U.S. economy. My son will be 18 in 3 years. This newly elected president and his choices, will affect my son and his future, just as well as everyone else's.
As ya'll know Veterans have a big soft spot in my heart. And I'm wondering which presidential candidate has our Veterans in their best interest. I always get all these email's about how this person opposed this bill for Veterans, etc. And I consider myself a fairly smart person. But let me tell you....the election is just a bunch of bull being thrown out to the proper audience at that time. The candidates may say they cater to Veterans and respect them, blah blah blah. But then when the voting for different bills come in, neither one of them step up to the plate to help them and/or protect them. It depends on who they're talking to, in what they say.
I've honestly made up my mind about who I'm voting for and I suspect most people have too. Come on McCain and Obama, show the Veteran's what you two REALLY got!!
